User interface (UI) design involves creating a digital product's visual appearance, functionality, and overall experience, aiming to make visually appealing, user-friendly, and engaging interfaces. Key elements of UI design include input controls, such as buttons and text fields; navigational components, like search fields and back arrows; informational components that communicate key details to users; and visual aspects, such as colour, icons, and typography. Practical UI design principles include clarity, consistency, feedback, and efficiency. After finalising the design, a prototype is created to test its functionality and usability. I've designed interfaces for apps, websites, and other digital devices using tools like Figma to create, collaborate, and share designs.
